ABOUT
It all began with a cup of coffee...
We love a good cup of coffee and a ride on the back roads. It's a thing. Rides led to talk and dreams of a farmhouse like the ones we grew up in. Talk and dreams led to visits to properties but these always resulted in a dose of reality - too much work, too much money, too much time.
But then, North Paris revealed a gem in Western Maine - an 1880s farmhouse and barn just waiting for us. Immaculately restored and cared for, we were enchanted by the house, the barn, the woodworking shop and the beautiful grounds. We officially moved in June 2018.
Since then, we have been working not only to make this our home but also our venue. It's not done yet, but the barn now has pine plank flooring, bathrooms, and a beautiful wrap-around deck off the back. And, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the lavvu, a Lapland-style tent, that will accommodate 100-120 guests....perfect for weddings or performances!
We're kicking off this season with two exciting concerts (please see the Upcoming Concerts page) and we are eager to talk to you about your event. Reach out and let's chat!

Exciting progress happening at NPH...our Sámi tent has arrived! After the truck was temporarily stuck and we learned that the truck lift gate didn't come, all the unloading was done one piece at a time (very heavy and dirty!). Between breaks in this never-ending-rain, assembly is under way. We are so thankful to Larry, Shellie, Mike, Deb, Miranda and Jake for all the help!
More updates later...
